Cozumel has an international airport, or you can fly into Cancun, take a bus or taxi to Playa Del Carmen, then take the water ferry to Cozumel, and a taxi to Las Lunas.
Las Lunas Inn is located on Avenida 40 North # 265 between 4 and 6.
From the Cozumel airport, take the airport shuttle vans. They cost under $ 10 per person.
A Tip, avoid the time share salesmen at the airport, who offer you help, car rentals, and free stuff. It is a big waste of your vacation time!
Another tip, when taking a taxi, always ask how much, BEFORE you get into the taxi!
Buses are new, modern, and comfortable with A/C, Toilets, TV, Video and Reclining seats.
Only $100 pesos Each Way !!!
(It is only a 50 min. ride each way.)

Despite advertising and constant rumors to the contrary, there is no ferry that runs directly from Cancun to Cozumel. You must travel to Playa Del Carmen to catch the ferry. Cost is approx. $10US.
Keep in mind that these schedules change all the time, even day to day. Allow plenty of time to catch a ferry. Since there are two ferry lines, you have a very good chance of getting on a ferry at any given hour from early morning till about 11pm at night. The ferries do not run on the half hour.
Cost at this time for a one way ticket is $140 pesos (about $12 US). And don't miss that last ferry if you are trying to make a bus or plane. Good Luck !!

PLEASE HELP
If you want to do something really good that is easy to do, please bring donations for one of the Cozumel organizations in need. My project is the Hogar de Ancianos, or the Old Folks Home. Currently they are in a house in town but have a new facility being built. In Mexico, the only reason an ancient one would go to this place is if they have no family. There are around 8 residents and they need help. They rely on donations from the community and us. Cash is easier to carry but they need twin sheets, which are cheap at Walmart in the USA, and lap blankets which I cannot find here. Please help these beautiful old folks!

Another amazing charity is the Cozumel Humane Society, who's efforts have saved countless numbers of cats and dogs from being killed, and who neuter animals for free. They have animals for adoption that you can easily take home with you. It breaks my heart to see these pets being thrown away and we can help. They also need donations.

Both these groups are run by many dedicated local Americans and Mexicans, who donate their time and energy to these very worthy causes. The orphanage at this time is pretty well covered by USA church groups who help by bringing groups of college kids to work on their facility. If you want a tour of any of these I will be happy to take you there.
Hospitals , Doctors and the Decompression Chamber.
We have many fine doctors and several good clinics and hospitals. I have become more familiar with them in the last couple of years and can state that I feel totally comfortable with any type of medical care that I could need, right here in Cozumel and Mexico. They do not take insurance from the USA but your insurance may reimburse you for most of it. DAN insurance is a must, it is not just for diving. The cost of medical care is probably less than 1/10th the cost of care in the USA. We have 2 diving decompression chambers in Cozumel so our divers are covered. Dentists are also excelent.
